Description: gaunt, pale and usually attractive humanoids, vampires vary greatly in their dress and general appearance. When fully revealed, they are ghastly, nightmarish figures with glowing eyes and gleaming fangs.
Vulnerabilities: vampires are invulnerable to normal weapons; garlic is distasteful to them - in its presence, they operate at -2; holy (Faith blessed) water causes damage at a rate of 3 pts per pint. Only a wooden stake through the heart can finish a vampire (in combat, wood does no damage unless striking the weak spot). Also, direct sunlight will incinerate a vampire (3 pts per round of exposure).

Powers: Hypnotic Gaze - victim must check WIL or become the slave of the vampire.
Transformation - vampires can take the form of wolf, mist or bat at will.
Blood Drain - on a successful bite attack, the vampire can hold a victim helpless until it has taken whatever blood it wishes. Vampires can drain 1 Health point per round, and use it to heal themselves (+1 Health point per blood point), kill off the victim (drain all Health), or convert him into a vampire (drain all Health, then spend 3 rounds converting). Characters who are bitten and survive are -1 to everything for each Health point lost, until one full day has passed.
